TechRev is seeking a Business Development Executive/Individual Contributor/Manager to help us generate new business opportunities and drive growth for the company. You will be the tip of the spear for TechRev when making contact with new prospects and target accounts. This will involve communicating our unique value proposition to people with a range of roles from senior management to business operations to technical, navigating complex organizations, building trusting relationships, uncovering areas where we provide value and sparking excitement about working with TechRev.

You will be a major contributor and accountable for bringing in projects and accounts that drive the success of the company. We will expect you to already have a deep understanding of how software is designed and developed and be well versed with and speak intelligently and confidently about today’s leading technologies. You will easily transition between working independently, contributing as a member of the business development team, and engaging project teams in managing solutions with our clients.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Identify new prospects and target accounts. As a sales professional, you have to find the right technological software products to suit the business needs.
• Network and build relationships with relevant people in person and online.
• Gain an understanding of customer's diverse and specific business needs and apply product knowledge to meet them
• Equality of service by developing a thorough and detailed knowledge of technical specifications and other features of employer's systems and processes, and then documenting them.
• Present proposals in person and balance persuasiveness with relationship building.
• Carry out cold calling in order to create interest in products and services, generate new business leads, and arrange meetings
• Identify and develop new business through networking and follow-up courtesy calls
• Prepare and deliver presentations and demonstrations of software to customers
• Organize meetings with prospects to pitch TechRev services.
• Work with internal stakeholders to develop proposals and project budgets.
• Keep an immaculate record of all outward-facing communications in TechRev CRM.
• Communicate activities and target status upwards.
• Drive opportunities from the first contact with a client through to the successful delivery of projects to develop a successful ongoing relationship.
• Collaborate with the marketing department to plan and execute highly targeted marketing campaigns and develop high-value content and messaging.
• Provide feedback based on what you are hearing in the market to help the company learn and adjust its strategy.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

Experience and Knowledge:

• 4+ years of relevant experience in custom software development services.
• University degree.
• Working knowledge of custom software development frameworks and technologies.
• Demonstrated history of success in business development roles.
